The wayfaring tree is a deciduous shrub which can reach up to 5m in height.
Wayfaring trees are found in scrub, hedgerows and woodland edges, especially those on chalky soils. They are native in the UK.
Look/leaves: Spreading, deciduous, bushy shrub, spread from 2–4m. Beautiful colour in Autumn
Height: Ideal conditions, up to 4m, mostly smaller can be shaped easily
Growth: 45 cm+ p.a.
Soil/Sun: Happy in nearly all soils except waterlogged. Full sun to full shade for best results
Pollination: Self pollinating by insects
